Hotel Monte Vista – nearly as old as Route 66, the Hotel Monte Vista opened on New Year’s Day, 1927 and has been a Flagstaff landmark ever since. The hotel’s magnificent neon , which still lights up the night sky today, is perhaps the most iconic sign in town and visible from all over downtown. Proceeds from sale of artwork celebrating Route 66 Centennial will benefit the Flagstaff Family Food Center.
