Why We Love My Mama Made It Labels These multi coloured labels are bright enough to be fun and playful. But their pale background means they will work with any garment at all. And the two different label shapes means you can really make these work with anything! How to Use My Mama Made It Labels Centre fold and side seam labels are easy to use. They are ideally sewn into the garment (either inside or displayed visibly) by inserting into a seam allowance or facing. On a knitted or crocheted garments you can wrap them over an edge and secure, or handstitch them on the raw edge (consider blanket stitch) inside the neck or waist. Side seam labels are a variant of centre fold labels, so you can use them the same way.
