About The Knitting Barber Jojo Stolpe, also known as Knit by JoJo, originally established The Knitting Barber as a brand for her great patterns. Why the name? Because by day she was a barber at Basement Barbers in Vaasa, Finland. Then she began producing products and accessories for knitting. Now she teaches classes and has a store — still in a basement in Vaasa.
